Hair Transplantation in Istanbul, Turkey

Since 2005, the number of tourists coming to Turkey for hair transplants from all over the world is increasing day by day. Most patients choose a procedure called FUE because this method has more advantages compared to the FUT method.
Turkey, and especially Istanbul, today welcomes many foreign tourists for the purpose of medical tourism. One of the main reasons is that in Turkey and Istanbul, a good quality surgeon is much cheaper than in other countries. Patients who choose treatment in Turkey can receive lots of perks such as free plane tickets, airport transfer, and free hotel accommodation. Because of this, people travelling to have hair transplantation in Turkey get their procedure taken care of and can have a nice trip.
Transplantation cost in Turkey is about 1/3 of that in Europe. As well as being a cheaper price, Turkey has also changed the method of treatment, to the bloodless, painless, non-surgical and seamless FUE method, to replace the bloody FUT method which once took place. Because of this, surgery can be carried out more quickly because there is no need to remove the skin. Instead a self-closing process of transplanting by opening small holes is done, making the procedure less painful and seamless. When this change in procedure occurred, the number of patients coming from abroad increased from 10 thousand to 72 thousand and the number of clinics increased to 200. The market reached 200 million in annual volume.
The Health Tourism scene has great potential in Turkey. The first hair treatment hospital in the world was established in Turkey and now around 100 thousand health tourists come to Turkey every year. The number of tourists visiting Turkey in 2008 was around 74 thousand, while the number of tourists hn the health tourist field who visited in 2010 rose to 110 thousand, and this number continues to rise.
Transplantation cost in Turkey is based on the price per graft and the average price is around 1 euro per graft. The cost of hair transplant in turkey may partly influence your choice of clinic, but you should also choose a hair transplantation center with an experienced team and a fully equipped hair transplant center.
Some clinics in Turkey periodically offer some discounts. In general, due to the reduced number of people coming for surgery in May and June, you can receive 10 and 20% discounts for operations. During this time, coming to Turkey for hair transplant can save you money, by receiving discounted treatment.

Are There Treatments for Hair Loss That We Have Not Heard of Yet?

The Future of Hair Loss Remedies
With the many technological innovations and powerful scientific tools today, scientists are able to explore more about our bodies, its functions as well as malfunctions and cure. This has been a continued process and scientists may be able to hit the gold in finding cures especially for hair loss. The future of hair loss remedies is bright as many companies have studied and one breakthrough on hair loss remedies is a study done in the University of Pennsylvania in the US. They have successfully identified a chemical in the scalp which seems to stunt hair growth thus causing hair loss. This scalp chemical is known as protein PDG2. In their study, they have found more protein PDG2 in scalp areas where hair was thinning as compared to areas where hair is still abundant and healthily growing. Scientists have developed a pill to counter the production of this chemical but they may still need more work and checking to ensure the effectiveness of the pill. They are also developing topical products derived from the pill as it more non-invasive.
One of the other hair loss remedies includes a project by Cotsarelis's lab. Scientists from this lab have learned to effectively manipulate or control follicular stem cells in test tubes. The process is to take hair follicles from the scalp and grow with dermal papilla cells. They will then be rejoined with the skin cells to form new and healthy hair follicles.
Japan's huge wig producer, Aderans, has a similar study where a "duplication process" takes place. Their process starts by taking stem cells responsible for the creation of new and healthy follicles - follicular stem cells - and then bundling them into follicle-inducing implants.
With the passing of time and a continuous development of technology science will be able to provide better answers to cure human baldness. These new studies and developments alone provide a bright future for losing hair remedies and the future will surely provide many others.
Advances in medical, herbal and holistic remedies are possibly available today but do we know about them, some say they have remedies, medicines and cures for illnesses and conditions, are they telling the truth? I guess we can only investigate their claims for ourselves and determine if the statements are true or false. I'm sure that there are some methods that work, see my findings for yourself and analyse the possibilities.
